My French is very bon

Hello Everyone, Anyone who knows me, knows that humility is foremost among my many great qualities. People ask me all the time how I stay so humble when I'm so awesome, and I reply: "It's just a natural part of being awesome." They'll squint their eyes a bit and nod slowly, knowing I just hit them in the face with some wisdom. (Another couple of my qualities there- wisdom and hitting people in the face.) Anyway, given my monk-like humility, I'm loath to share with you the results of my French tests from earlier this week. But I wouldn't want to deprive you of the news either, so here we are. These are Canadian French tests, so they are scored on a scale from A (lowest) to E (highest). There is no D. Not sure why. Specifically, the scale is as follows: A: Arrête-donc de parler anglais, tête carrée! B: Bâtard, ces tests son tough C: Coliss tabarnak, t'étais proche! E: Esti'q t'é bon en Français On the reading comprehension test, I scored 49 out of 50, giving me an E. On the writing test (basically a test of grammar, you don't actually write anything), I scored a 45 out of 55, giving me a C. If you'd like to try your hand at it, there are practice tests available here: https://www.canada.ca/en/public-service-commission/services/second-language-testing-public-service/self-assessment-tests.html I found the assessment tests pretty tough, and studied every day for a week before I took the official tests, so keep that in mind. Special thanks go out to Katrina for letting me use her official login to the training intranet the Government set up to help employees build their skills. As a classic example of bureaucracy, I couldn't get a login myself without being an employee, but I need to pass the tests to become an employee. Also, thanks to Molière for the nice, light reading I often engage in. wes Photos

Guess who was super pumped about the recent snowfall? He literally stops a half dozen times whenever we're at the park to wriggle around on his back in the snow.

The second is of my current workplace, which I thought looked nice in the snow.

Lastly, a photo from MC, my dog walker, of Arthur giving away the game to taking great canine portraits.
