The start of a bad habit

Hello Everyone,

Pro tip: if you are ever lost in the woods, just go take a pee somewhere and someone will stumble upon you before you're done. I don't know how many times I've been out on the trail for hours without seeing a soul, when I pull off to the side of the the trail and boom, the one person I'll see all day wanders by. "Oh hey, don't mind me, I'm just over here taking a whiz." Today, Arthur and I continued our bad habit of getting up early. To be fair, it's mostly me. I'm quite sure he would be very happy to continue sleeping. Just like yesterday, it was super rough at first, but once I got moving, I felt not too bad. Not good, exactly, but not terrible. We headed for a different mountain today. Not quite as much climbing on any one trail as yesterday, but we did two big ones today, so we likely did more overall today.  As we didn't get as high up, the scenery wasn't as spectacular, but still pretty good. Was thicker forest, which was nice, and as always, lots of wildflowers. And a bear, just a yearling, and he scampered off when he saw us, but that's number three so far. Pretty easy afternoon after that. Down to the river for a swim, then set up in the campground for a nap.

The first is from the highest point of our second climb. The second is from later in on that trail.
