As promised, here are the answers to the quiz.
True or false 1. F - While the original mascot for the team was named Benny, in reference to both the song and the owner, the team was named for the Winnipeg Jets of the Western Canada Hockey League. The name was also influenced by Hatskin’s love of the New York Jets of the NFL, and the fact that Winnipeg is the primary hub of the Royal Canadian Air Force.
