Hello Everyone,

I've put together a list of recent ups and downs in my travels. I hope you find it helpful, should you be considering a similar adventure.

--------

Pro: today we visited some natural hot springs that were terresed into the side of a hill overlooking a glacier fed river, amidst a forest of giant trees. I jumped into both the river and the springs.

Con: last night I caught a tick crawling on my arm.

-------

Pro: we drove through the Cascade mountains today, with pine forests and mist shrouded mountains as our scenery.

Con: it rained all day and everything is damp. Everything.

-------

Pro: I've ridden some incredible trails, providing flowy, twisty rides or amazing vistas, or both.

Con: I recently passed 15,000 km, meaning I've spent about 200 hours behind the wheel, staring at often monotonous road.

----------

Pro: I've met some great people and got to share the experience of adventure with some friends.

Con: I've used vault toilets (no running water) and public rrstrooms for the vast majority of my needs.

--------

Pro: I have no alarm to wake me up in the morning. I get up when I wake naturally.

Con: having to pee in the middle of the night means crawling down from my bed without slipping while still half asleep, at best. Usually it also means putting on some shoes and going out into the cold as well.

-------

That's all for now. Hope you are all well.
