Observations from the week that was

Hello Everyone,
Here are a view of my observations of the past week:
On Saturday, I was manning a station in a grocery store handing out free samples of beer. - You know you've made it as a brewery when they put you on the shelf next to discount cans of kidney beans and the weekly specials.
- Handing out free beer is harder than it at first sounds. In 4 hours, I went through about 8 cans, and this is a huge grocery store. - Those most likely to accept a free beer are men between 30 and 50, and women over 65. - You find rich people at banks, because that's where all the money is. Food is found at the grocery store. You can work out the rest of that equation. On Sunday I went biking in Kanata with Arthur.
- No matter how tired your dog may make you think he is, they can still take off after a squirrel at top speed. Panting be damned. Noted, Arthur. Noted.
On Wednesday, I played soccer in the rain.
- Remembering to protect your change of clothes by hiding them under the bench is less of an accomplishment if you forget to do the same with your shoes and socks.
Thursday I went indoor rock climbing again.
- I did not get bested by 12 year olds this time.
- They were 9.
- No seriously, they were 9 years old. One of them had a meltdown when he got tired.
- I was better than them. Marginally.
- Being better than a 9 year old at a sport isn't something to hang your hat on.
